Cleaning Up The Farm {OPEN}

[♫Ginny♪]

Connor laughed, he loved to cook. He always had he didn't know why. Or where he had even learned to cook. It was just something he knew how to do wh en he woke up that day in the field. "Thanks allot Beka I love to cook almost as much as caring for pokemon. Maybe someday I'll open my own restaurant as well. That would be nice." He looked down at Flare and Blitz and smiled. It had bean almost three weeks since he had gotten them. Flare looked different bigger almost. He wondered if she was already carrying eggs. He finished the cake and bent down to examine her.

Blitz got up and nodded, "yes she is. She should be laying the eggs any day now."

Connor beamed a huge smile, "I guess it moves faster if you have two pokemon who love each other. But still I was hoping to train with you guys and maybe get you guys to move some special moves first. "Oh well next batch maybe. Now I really do need to finish the egg room at least." He turned and looked at Beka. Maybe he would give an egg to her and Josiah. Maybe. It would depend on how many eggs there where.

"Well looks like I'm gonna have the incubator done in a day or two." He frowned that would be almost impossible he hadn't even finished cleaning the place up yet.

[Stern]

Beka nodded, "That I could see you doing. Maybe you could have your Pokemon help you wait and bus tables." She grinned up at Duskull, "As long as they don't spook the visitors, that would work out."

As Connor bent down to look at Flare, she raised an eyebrow, "That was quick." She looked at her hands, "Maybe I could help you out? I doubt Josiah would mind."

[♫Ginny♪]

Connor nodded, "yea it was quick. Guys try not to go having eggs unless I want you to ok. We have no place to keep them right now. If I have to keep you apart I will got that?" He stood up and sighed. "Thanks allot that would be great. Who knows maybe Josiah could help as well. Flare stay here and rest. Blitz Dusk lets get back to work."

Blitz got up and ran out the door he wasn't to happy about the thought of them being separated so they would have to be careful in the future.

Connor smiled, "yea a restaurant would be great. May be a few years though maybe I can open a small bed and breakfast for now to help save up the money." He had a few extra rooms.

[Stern]

Beka hid her face behind her hand and stage whispered to Flare, "Don't worry, he won't. He is a softie." She had Connor's measure enough to be kind of sure that he wouldn't do that.


She nodded, "If Josiah doesn't want to spend more time with his people, he would probably help out." She grinned broadly, "If you get a restaurant, tell us somehow, and we'll come visit."

Josiah had finished hanging with his old friends and had gone to meet up with Beka at Connors. He saw the house up in the distance and picked up his speed. "Not much farther Destiny and we'll be together again." He broke out into a run and reached the driveway just as Connor's flareon Blitz ran out and headed to a barn. He headed to the house and knocked.

Connor had headed to the door to head to the barn when he heard a knock. Opening the door he was surprised to see Josiah and Destiny standing there. "Hey I thought you had gone to visit some friends. To bad you just missed lunch."

[Stern]

Beka stood to follow Connor out to the barn when she heard a knock. As Connor opened the door, she walked forward and saw Josiah and Destiny standing there, "Hey, you. Done with visiting your friends?"

Blat woke as Beka moved away, and like a dog, she followed her mistress, *Hey, Destiny, Josiah.*

Josiah nodded and stepped into the house, "yeah we had allot of fun. I won a battle between each other. It was good to see Jenna and Kyle again. But I missed you." Walking over he kissed her softly on the lips. Pulling back he smiled. "So how have you bean?"

Connor shook his head and headed to the barn. "I'll leave you two lovebirds alone," he joked. :I have work to do while you to play catch up." With that he turned and headed out the door to the barn. There was already a large stack of junk by the road and a smaller pile of stuff that might be usable.

[Stern]

Beka smiled, "Good job. You've been getting better, for sure." She kissed him back, then stepped back as Connor left, "I've been fine, no worries. It was nice talking to Connor for a bit, at least." She smiled and prodded Josiah's ribs, "Maybe we should ask him to come with us again sometime. The journey was a lot of fun, apart from Blaze's sickness." She rolled her eyes, "As long as he can stay away from him farm."

Josiah smiled and through his arm around her shoulders. "Conner is a cool guy and he fought really hard to protect you and the pokemon." He could tell Beka liked Conner and smiled. "We can hang around here for a while and help him get things settled. "We could ask him to come with us but he looks pretty busy."

Conner whistled and three pokemon came running towards him. "Dusk, Flare & Blitz why don't you take a break while I check everything out and see what still needs to be done."

[Stern]

Beka cuddled into Josiah's side and nodded, "He did." She didn't want to get into a fight, despite his implication that she needed protection. "Yeah, let's do that. We can probably find enough training matches around here, and perhaps catch some more Pokemon as well." She smiled at the thought. Her team now numbered three, she had found a Seedot along the way as well to add to her numbers. However, she didn't travel with the team, most of the time.

Josiah realized what he had said and wanted to kick himself. "I'm sorry Beka I didn't mean to say you couldn't take care of yourself." He kissed her softly on the lips. "So shall we go tell Connor the good news?"

Connor walked from room to room. The training area was all cleaned up so was the office area where he would receive new pokemon. He had a desk from the house he was gonna move in here. "Dusk run to the house and grab my pen and note pad for me please."

Dusk quickly flew towards the house flying through the wall and threw Beka again with out realizing it until it was to late. He grabbed the pen and note pad from the counter. He than flew back through the wall going through Josiah this time.

[Stern]

Beka shrugged and squezzed an arm around him, "I know you don't think that." She smiled and nodded eagerly, "Let's go do that. How long will we be able to take?" She had other places that she wanted to visit, but she wouldn't mind a week or two helping a friend. The fact that Connor could cook was a plus, but not the deciding factor. As Dusk flew through her, she shuddered, calling out after the Pokemon, "Not nice!" As he came back and went through Josiah, she grinned, "Maybe someday he will learn to not do that."

Josiah shuddered hating the feeling of ice that went through him. "Yea that is so weird. We'll have to tell Conner that he needs to teach Dusk some manners while where here. And I can spare a week or two before I continue. Maybe he can help level Destiny for me. Oh and before I forget. Look what I found on the side of the road." Josiah pulled his book bag off carefully and very gently pulled a beautiful pokemon egg out. "I'm trying to figure out what's inside it."

Connor turned as Dusk came back and smiled. "Good Job Dusk." Taking the pen and note pad he began to scratch things on that needed to be done. As he walked through the barn his eyes looked at everything. So when he spotted the pokemon egg he dropped his pen and pad and ran to it carefully picking it up. He put his ear to it and listened. He could here a slight static like sound. So he could tell it was an electric type pokemon. Turning he walked quickly back outside. "Dusk got get several blankets and throw them in the dryer for me." With that he took his jacket off and wrapped the egg in it before setting it on the floor. He didn't have a hatchery yet so he would have to use warm blankets.

Dusk nodded and headed for the house flying through Josiah and than flying through the ceiling. He grabbed four towel and floor through the floor and through the dryer door and dropped them before flying back out and turning it on. He stopped by Beka and Josiah and smiled. "Connor found an egg." Than flew back out being careful this time not to fly through either of them.

[Stern]

Beka nodded, "That would always be nice." She gasped as she saw the Pokemon egg, "That's great, Josiah! I wonder why it was left at the side of the road..." She looked up as Dusk appeared and spoke, her ears twitching, "Okay, thank you, Dusk. We'll go see in a minute." She smiled as he avoided flying through either of them, "Maybe he'll learn on his own."

[♫Ginny♪]

Josiah beamed, "yea it's beautiful. I have bean taking really good care of it. I can't wait for it to evolve. What do you think it is?" When Dusk told them about Connor finding an egg the tips of his ears twitched. That's interesting shall we go see it or do you....." Josiah leaned down and kissed her softly on the lips. "To wait a few minutes?"

Connor headed for the house the towels shouldn't take to long to warm. As he reached the door he opened it and stepped in to see them kissing. He cleared his throat and quickly apologized for interrupting. "Sorry I'll just head to the laundry room." He walked quickly to the dryer and opened it feeling the blankets. They where nice and warm. He grabbed one and wrapped it around the egg and left the others in there.

[Stern]

Beka nodded, looking at the egg, "I can see that. It isn't scratched, like the rest of the things that usually come out of your pack." She grinned up at him, poking a bit of fun at him. He wasn't as disorganized as herself, so the joke was on her, but she didn't mind. "I don't know. He might prefer putting it somewhere warm first." Just then, Connor came in, just in time to see them kissing. Beka could feel her cheeks warming up, and knew that they were reddening. She leaned against Josiah, feeling weird.

Josiah laughed softly, "I know I'm not that organized but I am careful especially with things that matter." When Connor came in he smiled. "Hey Connor sweet egg where did you find it?" Josiah pulled Beka against him to comfort her.

Connor walked back and smiled, "I found it in the barn buried under some junk. I'm surprised it isn't damaged. And I wonder how it got there."

[Stern]

Beka shrugged, "It's better off with you than with me, at least." She snuggled against him and smiled at Connor as he showed them the egg, "Well, that's good, though." She smiled, at a grim joke that had just occurred to her, "It's the day of appearing Pokemon eggs!"

[♫Ginny♪]

Josiah smiled, "oh I don't know about that. I think he would be in good care with you." Just than the egg began to glow. "Oh boy it's hatching I can't wait to find out what it is."

Connor looked in aww as Josiah's pokemon began to hatch. He set his on the table and turned to Josiah. Put it on the table so you don't drop it."

[Stern]

Beka rolled her eyes. "I'd be careful with it, of course." She watched as the egg started to glow. Now they would find out what was in the egg, and nothing would change that now. "Yes, Josiah. Before you drop it or something, that would be cruelty." She smiled slightly as she watched the egg, her curiosity running rampant.

[♫Ginny♪]

Josiah nodded and set the egg down on the table. He knelt forward growing excited. "It has to be something special." He watched as cracks began to spread across the egg until. They all fell away revealing.... "A celebi," Josiah was in complete aw. "Wow, I can't believe it, it's a celebi."

Celebi blinked and yawned. She looked straight at Josiah and smiled flying to him.

Josiah opened his arms and hugged the celebi. "Welcome to the family Mys."

Connor smiled he was happy for his friend. "That's amazing an actual celebi. that is so cool you can travel through time and everything awesome."

[Stern]

Beka's jaw dropped as Celebi hatched out of the egg. She had heard of the Pokemon, of course, but this was the first time she had ever seen one. "she's a beautiful girl. Lucky you, Josiah." She grinned at her boyfriend and looked at the green Pokemon in his arms.

[♫Ginny♪]

Josiah couldn't believe his luck. He was so happy. "Your going to be an awesome addition to my team. Me and you along with Destiny are going to have so many adventures. Along with Beka and her pokemon." He turned to Beka and smiled, "I know it is is awesome."

Connor stepped forward and examined the celebi. "She is in perfect health. You couldn't ask for a healthier pokemon."

[Stern]

Beka smiled, "Yes, don't forget us. We'll be following you, whether you like it or not." She knew that she would follow Josiah to the end of the world and back if she had to. They were the best of friends, after all.

Blat looked up at the Celebi, blinking her big eyes. In Pokemon speech, she welcomed the newest member, "Hello there."

Celebi buried her head in Josiah's arm. She was shy and a little nervous around the others. She peaked at Blat and blinked. "bi bi bi *hello,"

Josiah smiled Myst seemed to be a little shy. "Myst this is Blat Beka's pokemon. And this is Destiny my other pokemon."

Destiny jumped up onto Josiah's shoulder and smiled, "eevee, eev *welcome to the team.*"

Connor stepped back and picked his egg back up leaving the others alone for a little while. He headed upstairs.

[Stern]

Beka smiled at the little Celebi, "I'll go leave you to get to know the family a little bit. I was planning on looking around a bit as well, if Connor is okay with it." She smiled at the little Pokemon group, "Blat, you can stay here and get to know Myst."

Blat looked at Beka and nodded, then turned back at Myst, *You'll like it with josiah. He's very nice.*

Connor set the egg on his bed. It would work till he got the incubator up and running. As he headed down stairs he hears Beka. "Sure go ahead mind if I join you? If not I'll head back to the barn and work." Whistling Dusk, Blitz & Flare came running. "Lets head back to the barn. We have allot of work ahead of us."

[Stern]

Beka nodded her thanks, "I wouldn't mind having you join me, or if you need help, I can help you out with whatever needs doing." She really didn't mind being put to work, Connor was letting them stay here, and she did want to learn more about how he ran this place, "Please, let me help?"

Connor smiled glad of some help. "Sure i could use some help. Can you help Dusk sort through the pile of possible useful items and see what you can find. If you find anything you think might be important send Dusk for me or you can come and get me yourself. I have to finish cleaning the barn out. Once your done you can help me in there if you want."
