Connor stepped out of the forest. It was close to night but they weren't going to camp again. They where almost there. Looking around he spotted the town not even a mile away. All the lights where on making it bright outside all the way to them. He turned to Flare and smiled. "Where almost there. Soon Blat and Blitz will be back to health."
Blitz poofed out of the poke'ball and collapsed on the ground. It looked at the lights and knew his suffering was almost over.
Flare brushed against Blitz. "You should stay in your poke'ball. It's safer for you."
Blitz shook his head to tired to speak.
Connor picked Blitz up and began to run.. "Beka Josiah come on where almost there." He was already about twenty feet from the others with Flare running at his side.
Josiah sighed and wrapped his arm around Beka. "Not much longer we should probably catch up. Come on Destiny." He to than began to run.
Destiny ran just a few inches ahead of him.

Beka nodded and started to run, Blat following close behind. Her long legs stood her in good stead this time, but she held back for the first part, staying close to Josiah, "Try to keep up!" Her laughter stayed behind as she sprinted away, soon catching up to Connor, "Well, we've almost made it. This last mile won't stop us."

Josiah laughed he had bean going easy for Beka. But he was about a foot taller than her. He quickly caught up and reached the others. He was in a full out run. "I'll race you there babe." He bent down and kissed her cheek. A bubble of laughter escaped his lungs as he quickly got ahead of them.
Conner shook his head, "now's not the time for racing Josiah." He didn't want to trip and fall and hurt Blitz even more.

Beka watched Josiah go, "You know you will win anyway." He was taller, but she wasn't going to fall for it this time, "Anyway, Connor is right. Blitz shouldn't be jarred too much, it might hurt him even more." She continued jogging in the direction of the Pokemon Center, her anxiety finally abated. Nothing could stop them now!
Suddenly, a girl dressed all in black stopped in front of them. At her side was a large Arcanine, and at her belt hung five more Pokeballs...

Josiah laughed and slowed down hearing Beka. "Yea your right we need to take our time. He stopped completely when some girl stepped in front of him. He quickly stepped forward making sure the others where behind him. "Who are you what do you want? Where in a hurry so please get out of our way."
Connor froze he had detected the the girl before the others thanks to his dog like ears. His lips pulled up and he bared his sharp canines and growled protectively. He handed Blitz to Beka than stepped forward and crouched in a attack position. He was ready for anything.

Beka looked at the girl, but stayed behind the two others, knowing that she had to protect Blitz, "We are in quite a hurry, that is true. Please move aside."
The girl laughed, "Oh, you are in a hurry, are you? Just hand over your Pokemon, and you may go, wherever your little hearts desire."

Connor growled his face contorted with anger and hatred. "I don't know who the hell you are or why you want are pokemon. But your not getting Flare or Blitz." He snarled his voicing sounded barely human any more.
Josiah sighed and shook his head. He would protect Destiny, Beka and Blat with his life if he had to. But he would go at it a different way. Though he was impressed with Connor. He figured he would have attacked by now. "Listed little missy if you want a pokemon go about it the right way. Who are you to think you can just take our pokemon from us huh?"

The girl just laughed, a sound like bells tinkling, "You think you could stop me?" Looking at Josiah, she smiled, "You obviously don't know me, sir. I am called Nymah by most, I am part of Team Kuro. A lowly part, but I still do my duty."
Beka held on to Blitz, whispering to the Pokemon, "It's going to be okay, Connor won't give up easily."

Conner couldn't take it anymore he lunged at the girl. She was obviously a plain and normal human girl. She stood no chance against a poke'morph. He used ember than snapped at her arm. "I don't give a damned who you are. No one and I mean no one steals from me or my friends.
Flare fallowed her trainers lead and used ember to combine with his than snapped at her leg.
Josiah stayed back as defense just encase Connor failed to protect them. He wouldn't let anyone harm Beka or the pokemon. He would put his life on the line first.

Nymah leapt back lightly and motioned her Arcanine forward, "Arco, use Fire Fang." The Arcanine absorbed the two Embers and then lunged forward, biting at Flare. He took both of the biting attacks as well, but they didn't seem to effect him in any visible way.
Beka shrank together at the sudden light in the clearing, but held her ground.

Flare took the Fire Fang but it didn't seem to do much damage since it was fire based. She smiled bit down on him while he was up close.
Connor jumped over the arcanine and ran straight for the woman and used a really powerful ember. While she was blinded by it he lept threw it and bit down on the woman's wrist. A smile crossed his face. "What are you gonna do now. I can take you down while Flare distracts your pokemon." He mumbled while his teeth continued to dig into her skin doing damage since his teeth where as sharp as a growlith's.

Arcanine growled as the attack hit home, but didn't stop attacking. For his next move, he used Close combat, battering away at the Flareon.
Nymah blinked as the ember blinded her and seared at her flesh, but as she was thrown to the ground, she had had enough. The pain in her wrist seemed distant, almost as if it was that of someone else. "You'll see." She kicked out at the Growlithe Pokemorph, regaining her feet gracefully.

Flare let out a bark of pain as she was thrown back. She got back to her feet and gave herself a shake. She was hurting but she wouldn't give up. She used sand attack than used ember on the trainers pokemon.
Connor let out a cry of pain as her kick hit him in the chest. He growled and gritted his teeth. He let out a loud echoing roar and used ember again. He than ran and came from behind her. He used bit again and hoped to pin her down.
Josiah was getting worried. He couldn't sit back much longer. "Destiny use Helping Hand than use Tackle on the Arcanine. Josiah and Destiny where eevee's so they didn't stand much of a chance. But he charged forward with a Quick Attack against the Arcanine.

Arcanine whined as he was hit again, but continued standing. He had learned to keep to his feet, knowing that Ny was busy with other things. or else she would aid him.
Ny grimaced as the fire burned at her skin, but twisted away before the boy could bite at her back. She bounded a few yards away and called out, "We'll finish this when I have time." She whistled once, bringing Arcanine to her side, and sprang onto his back before the two ran off into the forest.
Beka had been about to send in Blat, despite the type difference, when the lady sprang away from the fight. She called after the retreating pair, "Coward!" She petted Blaze gently, "We're safe now."

Blaze whimpered and tried to go to Connor but couldn't move.
Flare limped towards Beka and looked up at him. "It's ok it's over."
Josiah stood up and walked over to Beka. "You ok?"
Connor stayed in a crouch until they where long gone from his site. "We should get to the Pokemon Center quickly. Flare was hurt in the battle."

Beka held on to Blaze, "Don't do that. He will come over in a minute." She smiled at Flare, "Good job out there." As Josiqh inquired, she shrugged, " Shocked, glad you are okay, but otherwise fine. She nodded at Connor and stod up, "Let's go, then." Blat followed her friends, ears up as she listened for any sign of anattack.

Connor scooped Flare up and began a fast walk. The couldn't run but they could walk fast. It took them thirty minutes to reach the city limits. "Anyone know which way we go now? I don't know I have never bean here before." Just than he remembered the map and set Flare down and dug the map out looking for Urdang City. "Ah ha here it is." He quickly found the pokemon center and smiled. He was beaten up pretty good himself but that could wait. He put the map away and grabbed a large hoodie and coat. The hoodie would hide his ears and the jacket went down to his knees so it would hide his tail. He wasn't sure how the city would react to a poke'morph.
Josiah walked a little slower than Conner staying beside Beka.
Destiny held her head up proud that she had helped.

Beka strode along next to Josiah, taking in the sights. As Connor asked about the PokemonCenter, she shrugged. The last time she had come through here, she hadn't had to worry about it. As he found it on his map, she smiled. She looked at Josiah, then at Connor, " I wanted to go find some potions, I'll meet you guys in the Center in about half an hour, okay?" She didn't really need anything, but she did want to go explore the city a little bit.

Connor nodded, "ok see you there than Beka." Connor continued on in his steady pace until he finally reached the pokemon center. "Nurse Joy, Nurse Joy please help my pokemon." He placed Blitz on the counter than lifted Flare and set her next to him. He was hurt as well but he could go to the store and buy some medical supplies for himself later.
Josiah walked up to Nurse Joy and set Destiny on the counter us well. "We where attacked on the way here to bring Blitz to you. Flare and Destiny are hurt but Blitz is priority."
-can you post as Nurse Joy so I don't end up rping by myself for a few rounds lol.}

Beka nodded and turned away, Blat following at her feet. Puppe floated at her shoulder, exhausted, but still okay. She would have them healed at the Center, but they seemed to be as eager to explore as herself.
Nurse Joy looked at the wounded Pokemon, then noticed the obviously sick one. "I'll take care of him right away." With a clap of her hands, she summoned two Chansey to take care of the battlers, while she and a Blissey took the sick Flareon to a back room, where she started right away, taking care of him.

Josiah sat down and relaxed closing his eyes until it was time to get Destiny. He was tired after the long hike. If he could have he would have gone with Beka but Destiny needed caring for.
Connor was hurting when that trainer kicked him it hit him really hard in the ribs. He was sure he probably had a bruised rib but he would survive. There was nothing they could do about a bruised rib.
Blitz whimpered as Nurse Joy picked him up but he was to week to do much.
Flare yipped and tried to go after Blitz. She didn't want to leave his side.
Destiny just did as she was told and went with the flow of things.

----Half an Hour Later---
Beka walked into the Pokemon Center, amazed at the sights of the city. Of course, she had passed through bigger, but she had never had the time to explore them thoroughly. People didn't take kindly to the bushy tail or pricked ears, sadly. At least she had Josiah, he understood her.
Nurse Joy stepped out of the back room with Blaze in her arms. The Pokemon looked much more awake now. She walked over to Connor and handed the Flareon down to him, "Here you go. He might still be a bit tired, but he is fine now."
The two Chansey brought the other Pokemon out as well, handing them to their respective owners.

Flare lept out of Chansey's arms and ran to Blaze and brushed against him. She sniffed him several times before finally accepted he was ok. "I hate being separated from you."
Connor took his two pokemon and sighed relieved. "Thank you Nurse Joy very much." Connor hugged his two pokemon and sighed letting out all the stress that had built up inside of him. Turning to Beka he smiled, "there ok and Blaze will be good as new soon. Oh shoot I almost forgot my new pokemon." Grabbing the pokeball he set it on the counter. "Nurse Joy this is a Duskull I captured on the way here. I was so worried about Blaze I forgot about him for a minute. Can you make sure he's ok as well?"

Nurse Joy nodded, "It's what I do." She took the pokeball as he set it on the counter, "Anyone else have any other Pokemon to heal?" She looked at the new girl, smiling at her.
Beka nodded and gestured at her two, "Both of them are a bit tired, so if you could look after them, it would be great." As Nurse Joy and the three Pokemon disappeared, she turned back to Connor, "That's great!"

Connor quickly thanked Nurse Joy than returned to the others. "So where to next? There are no gyms here. We can go on after a couple days rest. I'm heading to my grandpas house but that's a ways away still. I can travel with you until than."
Blitz jumped onto Connors shoulder and curled up there.
Flare did the same thing on his other shoulder.
Josiah smiled, "yea great news glad to hear he will be ok. And well I'm heading for the gym. I hear they use flying types. But I don't know if I'm ready for it yet. After all Destiny is only level five so I need to do some training before I can go up against them."

Beka shook her head, " There is a gym here, Connor. I saw it while walking around." She looked at Josiah, "I think a few more days of training, then we can go challange the Leader. After we get our Pokemon back, we can go see who that is and what Pokemon they tend to use."

Connor shrugged, "oh sorry I didn't think there was one here." When Nurse Joy came back with Dusk he quickly thanked her and took the pokeball.
Josiah laughed, "I just said what they use. Flying type pokemon."

Beka nodded, "It's alright. I just saw it while walking around, it's not your fault you didn't see it." She looked at Josiah, "Why didn't you correct him, then, instead of making it sound like you meant the gym in the next city or whatever you might mean?" She smiled at Nurse Joy and thanked her, then took the three Pokeballs back from her.
