[/blockquote][/blockquote]To Be Your Own Best Friend...APPERANCE:
CLOTHING STYLE -
A fan of tight fitting clothes, Lorelei, in almost no way wears what you would call baggy clothes. With shirts and pants that fit tight enough around her body to not suffocate her, but enough to distinctly show off her feminane curves, the most loose clothing she'll ever wear is a jacket. Her typical style of clothing consists of a sleeveless turtleneck top - nothing to fancy of a design - and matching pants that come midway up her shin. As for shoes, you'll usually find her feet tucked neatly inside a pair of simple flats, almost always the same or similar color to that of her pants. For formal wear, she never wears dresses. Instead, she usually wears dark colored suits with a longer skirt to replace the pants that are matched with the shirt, tie, and jacket.
PHYSICAL STATURE -
You can point out Lorelei in a crowd, typically, for one easy reason: she's quite tall, even for her age. Standing at a height of 6'1", she's always been a little bigger then the rest of the people around her ever since she was a young child. It's not uncommon, being born into a family of 'giants'. Her first major growth spurt began as early as seven years old. And, just as she has always been exeptionally tall, the female has always been pretty darn lean. With a high metabolism and a stomache that only begs her for food on occation, it's no wonder she's been able to remain so skinny for so long. Overweight? She's never been any such thing - not even close. If anything, she's underweight. Muscles are little to none, as well, as exercise is not taken seriously in her own little world. The only point of it is to balance out any small portions of junk food she takes in. She's often been told to look younger then she truley is - maybe in her mid to early twenties - and she takes a bit of pride in this factor. But muscles and strength isn't all that needed in a world where an admin has Pokemon and Team Kuro grunts to fall back on to do her dirty work.
HAIR / EYES -
Very dark brown hair that falls down to mid-back. Curtain bangs parted on the left side of her forhead. Hair near ears pulled back and tied in an icey blue ribbon. Cold, blue eyes the same color as the ribbon in her hair.
PERSONALITY:
Lorelei is very much mature. She's very punctual and persise, a complete perfectionist. Every cat has a good side and a bad side, and while some are more blanced then others, not person is an exceptionexcept mary sues/gary stus. First of, Lorelei is a very loyal woman. She puts the good of Team Kuro before all things, even her well being, and is devoted protecting its members at all costs. Her loyalty has been known to even scare some of the people around her, as it seems that nothing means more to her then that. The female is also known to be quite courteous. Her manners are wonderful and she treats almost everyone with the same respect. Even when under great pressure, Lorelei can keep her cool and make the right decisions. She'd very decisive and once her mind is made up, it's made up. Nothing can get her to change her mind other then her own mind, and even then she'll be to stubborn to admit her mistake. Lorelei has been known as a perserverer; even when throw to the ground, she'll get back up and try again. Her very motto is to never give up, no matter how much of a pessimist she is. When she begins to do something, she'll get so focused on it, she forgets where she is and sometimes even who's with her at the time depending on how focused she is. She won't stop until her task is complete. Like it was said before, Lorelei is very mature. It almost seems as though an woman's mind was stuck inside the mind of a baby when she was born (which would also explain her mass intellegance). She often takes responsibility for as much as she can, whether it be training new recruits, causing mass mayhem (as the rest of the group does), or just watching over other people like herself. She believes that she has as much authority as adults older then herself and tries to take charge of situations assigned to other members of the group. And, finally, her greatest strength is also her greatest weakness-her intellegance. What this trainer lacks in physical power, she makes up for in brain power. She's probably one of, if not, the smartest cat in Team Kuro.
But, like every person has their strengths, every person also has their weaknesses. And what are Lorelei's, you might ask? Well, for starters, she's very cold. She doesn't dislike the people around her, exactly, but thinks little of them and is almost never seen without a scowl. She likes staying distant from others, mentally and physically, and doesn't really open up to others much. She makes sure to awnser very little when others ask her personal questions and is very guarded. Your usuall Pokemon trainer is bursting with energy and ready to battle and collect all the Pokemon of the world, loyal to the bone, and enthusiastic about what they. But, as you probably have figured out by now, Lorelei isn't that kind of person. She's very unenthusiastic, seeing almost all of her work as a bore. In fact, most things to her are very boring. But, being the responcible, focused woman she is, Lorelei doesn't complain about her work to others, just in her head. She relies solely on herself, believing that others can't be trusted to do anything. For this reason, she puts to much work on herself and is often exhausted. Because of her cold appearance, many people tend to stray away from this intelegent admin unless it's very necessary, leaving her even more lonely and cold then before. She's unfriendly to people who she is not used to being around, and can come of as very mean to people who she's just met. This also leaves her with little to no friends, but what others don't know is that, if you can get past her pessimistic behavior, you'll have a very loyal and trustworthy friend. Yes, Lorelei is a pessimist. Her outlook on the world is as cold as ice and dull. She sees life as more of a burden then anything and doesn't really care whether she lives another day or dies on the spot. She is very suspicious, expecially of people she does not know and doesn't trust anyone she can't open up to.

Leave Out All The Rest...HISTORY:
Lorelei was born to two parents, neither of which got along with the other. Her mother was a gentle soul who cared very much for her children, while her father was a drunk who could very well care less. A dark atmosphere hung over the family, even when she was young of age, and she was never known to be to happy of a child. When she hit the age of 6, give or take a few months, her sister, Frieda was born. The sisters cared deeply for one another - it was as though they were destined for one another - and Lorelei constantly looked out for her younger sister in the many years to come. Her father began to become more absorbed in his work (the family knew not that he was part of Team Kuro), and about six years after his second daughter's birth, her mother descovered he was cheating with another woman. When the only man in their family left with another, Lorelei's mother disappeared mentally. She never spoke to the girls once in a long period of time and failed to take care of them. At the age of 12, Lorelei took over as head of the family. However, things were very difficult. Her mother winded up obtaining a fatal deasese with proved to be the end of her. It wasn't long before dear old Frieda got hold of the terrible illness as well. Being the only person in the world she cared for, Lorelei tried her very best to keep her only remaining relative well. But, in the end, it proved to be futile and another life was added to the statistic of deaths caused by said desease. Half starved and weak, Lorelei went to the only place she knew she could find shelter (since she had discovered her Father was an admin of Team Kuro roughly a year before he left). Team Kuro. Her father was well respected amoung their ranks and, at the site of his spitting image, they gave her shelter and offered her a place with them. Bitter at her father's betrayal, as she saw it was his fault for the death of her mother and sister, she agreed hesitantly. the only reason she joined at all was to save her own life, as she knew she would have no hope of survival in the outside world. She clawed her way up the ranks with the Larvitar her sister had gifted her at her dieing bed (Freude) and proved to be quite the skilled trainer. It wasn't long until she reached the highest rank she could acheive without overthrowing the leader - an admin, like her father. At the age of 23, however, she sent herself on her own mission. Still imensely angry at her traitorous father, she set out to murder him with her own hands. And murder him she did. She still longs for revenge, and hopes that staying with Team Kuro (which she wishes no ill will towards for saving her life) will give her the power to fufill what she beleives needs to be done.

RP SAMPLE:
Solitude.
A large, bulky figure trudged in silence, his heavy paws picking up slightly damp dirt as they skidded across the ground tiredly. A long tail dragged behind them, picking up the same filth and grim as the rest of their owner's fur. But it didn't matter ot the cat in which the tail was attached to. Had it matter, or even occured to him at all that their tail was being dragged carelessly through the earth, they may have very well done something to clean it out. Or, at least, keep it from picking up any more filth. But they left it be, hardly even taking notice of how badly they had began to slouch.
Solitude.
That was all he asked for.
Leopardclaw wasn't much of a moper. If he had a problem, he'd come right up and say it in a usually less then pleasant way. The word 'mope' itself was hardly in his vocabulary. But the very sense of feeling that hung over the camp like a fog was unbearable. Dull. Something that would make you... mope. So, there he was, dragging himself around BrackenClan's half flooded territory as he would a log. It was pathetic, really, the way he moved. Head bent, shoulders slouched, paws barely raising off of the ground... Part of him wanted to have the dignety to pick himself up, while the rest thought simply 'Let it be. No use in looking good when there's no one around to see you anyways...' And, hopefully, if things went his way, there would be no one at his destination, either.
With a breathy sigh, the bengal tom seated himself down in the grimy dirt. Or would it be considered mud? It didn't matter what it was. The way it seeped through his fur and penitrated all the way down to his skin sent a violent shiver run down the tall warrior's back. It's sticky texture made it impossible for him to sit down in it any longer then he did and he threw himself back up to his paws. Spitting in contempt, almost as though he had received a mouthful of the vial, brown muk, he began to clean himself off as bes the could. Dirt? He could handle a bit in his fur. Mud? Out of the question. It was wet and stricky when fresh, and a pain to clean off when dried.
"I don't know what's worse..." he growled quietly with a hiss as he began to walk away from the large patch of mud that he had not noticed until he'd seated himself down smack dap in the center - give or take a couple of yards. "Sitting in camp with a bunch of gloomy idiots or being surround by mud and water..." Unfortunately, where he was headed would undoubtingly be no better then where he was. But he was already three-fourths of the way there. 'Might as well continue what I started... No harm done in it, I suppose...'
It took longer then expected before the BrackenClan warrior spotted his destination, and he had been pretty close to simply giving up and turning around andheading back to camp. Thank goodness he hadn't - the place looked completely deserted from the distance. Solitude. Peace. Quiet. Tranquility. And, better yet, it wouldn't be shrowded in a sense of gloom and sorrow. Without really meaning to, the striped tom broke into a run, racing as fast as his long legs would carry him, in hopes of getting there as soon as possible. He hadn't been here since the storm, and he was aching to find out what the remains of their camp looked like. It couldn't be as bad as everyone said... could it? Finally, Leopardclaw was in a spot where he could see the destruction the storm had caused for himself. And it wasn't as bad as his clanmates had said.
It was worse.
His face fell and a sense of dread swarmed over him. Was this really the same place that he had spent his entire life in? Filled with water, it was hardly recognizable... A low rumble could be heard, and he was hardly aware that it was a growl emiting from his own throat. His claws began to dig into the fresh mud below him and found that the sight of the camp was bringing up unwanted anger.
Just as he was about to turn around and go home, another scent, hard to detect due to the scent of water clogging the majority of his nostrals, hit his nose and caused him to whip his head around. Another cat. So much for solitude. The figure was short - the size of an apprentice - and looked vaguely familiar... But he couldn't place his paw on who it was. As much as he wanted to turn an go home, another thought was beginning to form in the back of his mind. 'What in the name of StarClan are they doing here? And, more importantly, who are they...?' And, as they always say... curiosity killed the cat.
Sneaking closer to the form of the other feline, Leopardclaw begged his heavy paws to not make so much noise. If he got close enough, they would be able to hear him and the whole element of surprise would be ruined. He crept closer and closer ot the stranger, squinting in a failed attempt to see them better farther away. A female. Matted, calico fur. 'Closer...' he urged his paws silently. 'Just a little more and-'
Snap!
"So much for the element of surprise..." he groaned quietly, silently screaming at himself within the depths of his mind. If an apprentice of what he thought to be her age was trained as well as he was, there would be no mistake that she had heard the twig snap in two under the weight of his paw. And, if that didn't do it, his scent or sound of his voice would.'Unless she's off in La-La Land... Fox dung! And I was so close to figuring out who it was!' With a long, drawn out sigh, he stepped out into the open.
"Um... Hey..."
