Jocia stepped off the boat and onto Kyuuga Region. The place looked so big from up on the ship. She was exhilarated and she couldn't believe she was finally here. The ship dropped her off right at Beechleaf Town where the Professor lived. Strapping her back pack over her shoulders she smiled. She had to be careful because her fishing rod was strapped to the pack. She couldn't wait to try and get some water pokemon. Jocia took off at a run and spotted Prof. Rose's house quickly. As she reached the front door she gave a light tap and waited. Her mother had taught her to never barge into someone's home with out being invited.

Professor Rose opened the door to find a girl standing there, a girl that didn't look familiar, but looked about the right age to be her next appointment. She had recieved a letter in the mail about meeting this girl, a visitor to the region, to the best of her knowledge, "Hello there. I am Professor Rose." She looked at the girl, "Would you be... Jocia?"

Jocia smiled brightly as the door open, "hello Prof. Rose. Yes I would I come here to receive my starter pokemon. I was told I would receive to since I will be a breeder as well as a coordinator?" She was really excited about finally receiving her pokemon. And Jocia couldn't wait to see what she could choose from.

Professor Rose nodded slightly, "Yes, you may choose two to begin your journey with." She smiled slightly and turned to grab her ring of keys before turning back to the girl, "I can help you at my lab, that is where my Pokemon are kept." She stepped out of the door and turned to lock it behind her.

Jocia stepped in and looked around. "Thank you Prof. Rose. I already know what I want. I got a card from you telling me what pokemon I can choose from. And I choose on the way here." Jocia waited for the professor to lock the door before making her statement. "I want the female meowth and the ditto."

Professor Rose led the way into her lab, unlocking the door as she went, "So there is value in those cards after all?" She grinned at the girl and nodded, "Luckily, I have those two here for you." She smiled, "Why don't we go into the back room and you can meet your Pokemon?"

Jocia squealed happily glad that the pokemon she wanted where here. "Thank you so much Prof. Rose that sounds great." As she entered the room with the pokeballs she ran forward. Her eyes swiftly ran over the cards until she found the two she wanted. Grabbing the pokeballs she tossed them in the air. "Come on out guys."
Ditto flew out of the pokeball and shifted into a Pidgy and flew onto Jocia's shoulder.
The meowth sat down and scratched her ear before looking up at Jocia and purring. "Meow, meow, meowth." She jumped onto her other shoulder and rubbed her cheek next to Jocia's.

Professor Rose smiled and nodded, "that's my job." She watched as the girl ran into the room and let out the Pokemon without so much as a by your leave. She sighed and leaned against the wall, watching the girl and the two Pokemon, "I suggest that you do not just run around and open Pokeballs in my lab. I have sick Pokemon in here as well, ones you would do well to let rest."

Rose frowned and lowered her head, "I am sorry Prof. Rose. I am just so excited, I have bean trying to talk my parents into letting me come here for a few years now. My whole life I dreamed of starting my own journey."
The Ditto changed to it's normal form and pressed against her cheek. "Ditto, ditto, ditto."
Meowth just sat and looked at Prof. Rose thinking she was being a bit harsh.
