Preparing for the new trainer {Luke/Closed}

Prof. Rose was getting ready to head out the door to fallow the trainers who had left for the pokemon center a couple hours ago when her phone began to ring. For a minute she thought of ignoring it but sighed. It could be important and the two trainers should be fine on there own. Finally she raced to the phone and picked it up. "Hello Prof. Rose's Lab Prof. Rose speaking." She listened than cursed under her breath. "Ok when will he be here? What your kidding me a little more warning would be nice I have an emergency right now. A couple of new trainers took one of my pokemon to the pokemon center. I told them I would catch up......Fine, fine but I'll have to make it quick. Ok Goodbye Prof. White." She hung up and quickly grabbed three pokeballs. One of the balls was a Dratini, one was a Croagunk and a Umbreon.

Luke had been packing his most needed stuff into his bag all day, the rest of it he had already sent to his parents days ago, this was because he was giving the house to another, because all his family had moved away and there was no one else down the line he could give it to, sad really he had always wanted a brother or a sister. He took his model sword from his shelf and smiled before strapping it to his side, he would not need it but it looked good and he felt safer with it he had no idea why though.

There had been not much to pack so all he had was a small backpack and the clothes he had on him, he grinned remembering something he quickly took the keys and took a note from the counter, he had written it the other day. Once it was all done he went out there door and quickly stuck the keys under a flower pot before sticking the note to the flowerpot.

With a bounce in his step he made his way to the Lab, he looked around this was his first time here he had never been here even though he had lived near the place for some time. Walking over to one of the seats he waited for the professor that did all the giving of pokemon to people to arrive.

Prof. Rose heard the door open and knew Jenna her secretary would be coming to get her soon. She brushed her graying hair out of her face and finished setting the table up. The three pokeballs where lined up. And in front of each pokeball was a card telling the new trainer what pokemon was inside it, what level they where, what gender they where and what moves they had. About ten minutes after the door had opened the secretary came in. "Mr. Neless is here to see you professor." She heard the secretary say. "Thank you Jenna tell him I'll be right out." She went and grabbed the pokedex as well as the starter pack. There was a thunder stone along with the starter pack.

Finally she turned and headed to the waiting room."Good evening you must be Luke. Prof. White called me a little while ago telling me you where on your way. Anyway fallow me. I have the pokemon all set up. If you don't like what you see there are many, many more that you can chose from." She turned and headed back into the other room. She was surprised the boy was so old. She shrugged and picked up the box with the starter items and the pokedex. "Here is your starter pack as well your pokedex. I have picked three pokemon. Like I said if you don't like these three there are more."

Luke already knew what type of Pokemon he wanted as his first pokemon and that would be water, if there was now fire then leaf would be a second choice of his. Fire and leaf where the type of Pokemon he loved the most, Fire to him always seemed to be most energetic and exciting pokemons while leaf well leaf to him was just interesting and there was just something about them that drew Luke in he was not sure what it was though.

Luke did not actually have that long to wait once he had sat down it only took as much as 2 or so minutes before Prof. Rose came into the waiting room, he stood up smiling his face jolly,
"Evening thanks for seeing me." He followed her into the room and nodded to what she was saying before taking the starter pack.

Once she mentioned the Pokeballs he looked over at them checking the notes that where on them, he studied the names recognising them instantly. The Dratini was one that caught his eye he looked at it for a few seconds before deciding to keep that one in his mind. Turning to the prof he quickly asked
"Do you have any fire types?" he did not mind if there was not, if there were not any fire types he would go for the Dratini.

Prof. Rose watched as he examined the pokeballs. "Yes I do we have several fire types. Is there any your are thinking about in particular?" She picked up the two pokeballs he had dismissed and what to the door that led to the fenced in backyard. She let them out and they quickly ran off. She put the empty pokeballs in there correct spots. "Now do you want me just to bring a few fire types out or do you already have a few in mind?"

"Er no none in mind, bringing a few out would be cool anyway not knowing what you going to get is always cool." He smiled at the prof actually quiet pleased there was some fire types around, he could not wait to see what ones they actually were as well. He looked back at the other pokeball the one with, the Dratini. The reason why he had kept that one out was not because it was cute, which it was but because of what it was like and the fact he did have a little interest in water types.

Ok I'll go grab three more pokemon." She left the room. She went and grabbed the empty pokeballs from another room than went outside and called the three pokemon. When they showed up she called them back into the pokeball's than went back to her office and grabbed the three id cards for them and returned. "Ok here we go." She set the pokeballs down and set the cards next to them.

"So do you see any that interest you or would you like to see more still?" She was hopping the boy would like one of these. She really had to get going. She was in a hurry. The trainers would be at the forest by now and would have to travel through the forest for the next two days.

Luke could not wait to see what fire Pokemon she would come back in with, he an idea of the type of fire Pokemon he wanted, while he would never say ti he was always taken by cute but also powerful was nice, it just depended on what was there really.

He smiled when the prof came back in and waited for her to put the pokeballs down once she did he walked over to them and read what they where, after reading them he went back to Flareon and picked up the pokeball he had seen one of these before and had always wanted it was like a piece of bacon calling to him.
"I would like this one."

Prof. Rose nodded and let out the other three back outside and set the pokeballs back in there place. "Ok now are you a breeder or a trainer or coordinator?" She walked over to her computer and began typing the information in her computer. She put the boys first and last name than the pokemon he had chosen. She than waited to see what he was.

"Im a trainer, thanks by the way I hope I've not spent to much of you time," he smiled at her and looked outside the window noticing the other Pokemon running around outside, he wished he could take them all but eh knew its best not to plus it would not even be a challenge and another thing it was stealing.

Prof. Rose nodded, "ok than well if that is all you need I really must be going. I was getting ready to leave when I got the call. I am in a bit of a hurry. So if you could just show yourself out." She went into her office grabbed two pokeballs that belonged to her and her jacket and quickly left the building. Screaming behind her, "Good luck on your journey and Linda call Prof. White and tell him I must thank him for sending this boy last minute."
