Jere had just set up the farm a few days a ago and was pretty proud of it, he had always wanted a farm as it was part of being a breeder, however the place to have it was the annoying part, which was another reason he spent years travelling, not just for study but to find a perfect place. Here was one of those places because the forest he had heard held dark and ghostly Pokemon.
At this moment Jere was putting some food into the food station topping it up for all the Pokemon at the moment he could see the two Marills playing around in the swimming pool, but where was the Gengar, sighing he stood up and smiled slightly ok "Gengar your behind me," sure enough as soon as he turned around it was there, he grinned at the Gengar and pretended to jump making him happy. "I would go get you food if I where you," he said in a gentle tone before turning back to watch the other two Pokemon.

Beka walked up along the path that lead around the Starz Border Farms, looking at the many Pokemon frolicking around the wide open space, smiling happily. She had never been to a breeding farm before, but this seemed more like a playground for the Pokemon. She watched two Marills playing around, and giggled.

Jere smiled at his Gengar spooks who almost seemed to bound away to the food, there seemed to be nothing that could upset spooks, that was unless you where not scared by his sneaking up on you, he loved scaring people, he tried it on Jere alot Jere just went along with it.
Jere was about to head for the grooming station when he noticed a girl around the farm, he smiled but crossed his arms he was not angry just wanted to know what she was doing here. watching her for a few moments he noted how she enjoyed the Marills playing. "Hello there, may i ask what your doing here?"

Beka jumped. She hadn't noticed the young man coming up to her, nor had she heard his footsteps. "I, uh, I was actually looking around. I've been interested in water types for a long time, but I haven't seen many around, especially after I chose my starter." Blat didn't like water types, she thought they were worthless opponents, but there was no need to mention that. "I'm sorry for coming up here without permission. I'll leave, if you like."

"Your right I've not seen many myself A few years ago i did, but then most of my latest travels I've not been near much water, the only reason why I set up near here was the ghost Pokemon." he smiled a bit and unfolded his arms he did not like talking to people much but it was good to be polite. "no you can stay and take a look around if you want, your a trainer i take it?" he noticed spooks creeping up on her in that friendly way that he did he slowly walked up to her so spooks would not notice "Spooks the Gengar is sneaking up on you just act scared he likes it" he would rather not have a guest scared out of her wits.

Beka nodded, "You are right, I am a Trainer." At his advice, she grinned, then stiffened her legs, ready to jump. She had seen a Gengar before, of course. They weren't that rare, but it was still pretty awesome to have one that liked interacting with people, no matter what that method entailed.

Jere just smiled before looking over at his Marills before turning back again to spooks dancing behind Beka's back and then tapping her on the back. Spooks had not seen a new person for a long time so he was actually not all that surprised with the fact he was acting like this.

As the Gengar tapped her shoulder, Beka shrieked and spun around, "What is that?!" She thought it sounded pretty convincing, but who knew. As she 'noticed' the Pokemon behind her, she mock scolded it, "Now, it's not nice to give me a fright like that." She allowed a grin to break through her seemingly strict countenance, "Nice to meet you."
